Boo

Boo

This guys name is Boo but he's too little and cute to scare anyone!! Boo is an 8 week old kitten that was picked up by a good Samaritan in Houston.  He was in the middle of the road and was nearly hit by several cars and 18 wheeler that drove over him before the lady was able to rescue him.  With such a traumatic experience, he was in shock with pale gums, and limping with a swollen hind leg.  But the vet said he will recover just fine and is already showing significant signs of improvement.

Boo has shown so much affection for such a tiny guy, he nuzzles his face in hands and holds his tail up high to show how happy and at ease he is with people.  This sweet little guy would love a home to call his own after his rough start to life on the streets.

Eleven

Eleven

Meet another one of our kittens that came from the streets of Houston... her name is Eleven.  She was picked up by someone who stopped her car in the middle of the road just to save her.  Her face looks to have been injured from possibly hitting the concrete, but she is on an antibiotic and we are working on getting her all healed up and ready to meet her new family.

She has a very sweet disposition and the LOUDEST purrs.  She is getting along swimmingly well with another foster kitten, Boo (also available for adoption!) and they love to cuddle and play.  She is sweet with a touch of feisty and will make the perfect addition to any family.

Nox

Nox

Nox is a 6 month old kitten who lost him mother and siblings in the country to an unknown animal. His current caretaker who is unable to care for him any longer due to work schedule. He wanted him to be a barn cat but Nox is so docile that he doesn't stand up to himself to his dogs and was getting hurt. He is great with kids and plays so gentle! I don't even think he knows he has claws! He is quite the night owl and is a cuddle bug during the day, family members wrap him up and carry him like a baby and he loves it!

Harvey

Harvey

This cute little kitty right here is a living miracle.  On Friday, August 25th, he was hit by a car and left in the street to suffer.  Luckily, a witness to the accident was able to scoop him up moments after the incident and take him to the nearest vet clinic.  Initially, his survival was very unpredictable.  However, as time progress he started to show immense improvement with the exception of his front left leg, he has made a full recovery!  He will need to have his front leg amputated one he gains a little more weight and becomes a little stronger.  AJL will cover all expenses related to this.

He's a true sweetheart and a ball of energy.  He loves getting lots of attention whether its while playing, cuddling, or just taking naps together.  He is the perfect company and will be a true blessing to whoever take him in!

Gypsy - Seattle Bound!!

Gypsy - Seattle Bound!!

Gypsy is a 4-6 month young DSH kitty.  She was a stowaway who hitched a ride from San Antonio to Houston with an unknowing family. She is a playful young kitten who is comfortable with children, other cats, and dogs. She enjoys sleeping in the sun with her foster siblings, playing with all her toys, chasing feathers, and cuddling in bed. She is fearless and outgoing. Gypsy is fully litter box trained and more than ready for her forever home.

BJ

BJ

BJ is approximately 5/6 years old, orange male tabby.  He spent the first 5 years of his life 100% outside, so he is very adept at hunting and enjoys being outdoors.  His previous owner left him outside with no access to shelter, so he sought shelter with a nearby neighbor instead.  She taught him to sit on laps, nap on the bed, get brushed, play with toys, and to be loved.  Even though he's adapted to being inside, he will meow to let you know when he wants to go out.  He goes outside to do his business, but he also knows how to use a litter box.  He is in excellent health, up to date on all vetting, and is neutered.  He gets along with other cats and older children.  He would be the perfect cat for a home in the country or a home with a large yard he can explore, but still come home to shelter, food, water, and love.

Pixie

Pixie is a beautiful domestic shorthair (DSH) tabby that was found with a gaping wound on her leg.  With the proper care and hydrotherapy (increases circulation, healthy cell growth, and reduces pain and inflammation), her leg is healing spectacularly and she will be good as new in no time at all!  She is incredibly smart and very much food motivated.  She does fantastic with children, good with other cats, and even dog friendly!  She is 7lbs of love and sweetness.  She tested negative for FIV and FELV and is overall very healthy.
