We found Oxford during a day of volunteering on the streets of Houston, and just couldn't leave him behind. He was all alone, had a broken leg & mange, and looked so sad & miserable. We knew it would have to be a special family to take Oxford home! This is their story...!! :)

About six months ago, we decided to start looking for a brother or sister for our beloved Trouble. Months into our search, Diana McAllister with The Animal Justice League, posted a picture of Oxford on the Pets of Oak Forest Facebook page and said he was found on the streets, possibly with a broken leg. As soon as we saw those adorable and expressive brown eyes and floppy ears, we were in love. Oxford has been with us now for almost a month and we couldn't be happier. We feel so fortunate to have found the "perfect fit" for our family in so many ways. He is full of energy yet loving and so sweet. He loves squeaky toys, bones, cuddles, and running around with his sister, Trouble. We had never been through the adoption process with a rescue but we thought it was great how The Animal Justice League got to know us, as they were truly interested in finding Oxford not just any home, but a good home. We absolutely love Oxford and want to give him the best life we possibly can. Thank you for finding the missing piece of our family for us.

With love, Ruben, Lucia, and Trouble
