Sandy was found being protected by her sister after their mom was hit by a car. She is a very brave little kitten. LITTLE being the key word here. Sandy is small and mighty. She looks like a kitten, but when you hold her she feel like a tiny spider monkey. She is loose, lanky and very spastic. She lets her foster mom throw her over her shoulder and hold her upside down. She also has a very charismatic tail! Her tail carries her through the house like a squirrel’s would! It’s just about the cutest thing to witness. Sandy is very much in need of a house that comes with friends. When she gets bored, she gets DESTRUCTIVE. So a house with some animal or kiddo friends is imperative for her development. Sandy is the ultimate inquisitive kitten and her foster mom expects her to carry that with her to adulthood, so if you do not like cats being in your stuff and climbing on countertops…this is not your kitten. Sandy needs someone that gives her the ultimate freedom in the house! Sandy is kind of like a sour patch kid…first she is sour…and then she is SWEET! She snuggles, purrs and will lay next to you all night. She is always warm like a little heating pad…probably because she’s been so busy all day! Sandy is dog & cat friendly! She has not been tested around kids, but she is young and her foster mom believes Sandy will definitely be kid friendly as long as the kid understands gentle hands. She is food motivated and litter box trained. She is also amazing in a crate for travel. Her foster mom thinks there is great potential for Sandy to be a future adventure backpack kitty with her humans.
