Garfield enjoys lounging on the couch and following foster parents around. He gets excited when they arrive and even gets up to greet them! He does not mind being carried once he is comfortable with you. And when he’s hungry, he goes into the pantry and sits on top of the food bin! He reeeeally wants to give you love bites that hurt but, to his disappointment and bad experience, he does not have any teeth. You see, Garfield was an outreach case a few years back. AJL neutered and vaccinated him. Foster mom noticed he was not looking very well, and the owners decided it was best for him to be taken care of by AJL. Garfield had a bullet in his nasal cavity (has since been removed) and a broken jaw that has healed the best it could. He also had a blocked ear and had to have his remaining six teeth removed. He is all good now! Garfield always has maintained such a friendly personality despite his former life - especially to humans. Garfield does have to be an only cat because he can be a bit of a bully to other cats. But … He is used to dogs that are respectful of his space, especially if they stay away. He currently lives with three adult dogs and has a best friend puppy. They enjoy wrestling and Garfield enjoys sinking his gums into the puppy. 🤭 It is the cutest thing ever!
