Say hello to Smokey! This sweet and laidback girl didn't always have such a cush life. The happy girl you see in these pictures is the product of a patient, consistent and loving foster home...and that's exactly what we're looking for in her forever home! Smokey LOVES to be around other dogs and gets a lot of her confidence from them, so other well-adjusted dogs in the home that can show her the ropes is a must. She's great with kids and even tolerates her kitty-housemates well. Smokey can be a little shy at first, but this girl wants nothing more than affection and to be part of the "pack". She is kennel and house trained, UTD on vaccinations, spayed and has almost mastered this “leash walking” thing. Smokey is HW positive and has started treatment. AJL will continue to cover the cost of that treatment even after adoption.
