Edith (aka Edie) the senior pittie was found in Garden Oaks on a 95-degree day and was just begging to be saved. The construction site she was hanging around said she’d been there all day and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with her or make sure she had water. We were so hopeful whose found that Edie had a microchip but then found that the family that adopted her from a shelter in 2012 hadn’t seen her in 9 years and had no “attachment” to her. Given we had known her for about 9 seconds and were completely in love we found this hard to believe. Edith was quickly accepted into our group because we could see she still has lots of love to give. Edith is good with cats and kids. She is house trained and prefers a “den” or crate over a dog bed. She likes her short walks and will happily splash in puddles on a rainy day.
